Yoga is an ancient system of physical postures, breathing practices, and meditation designed to integrate body, mind, and spirit that originated in India. Gentle yoga classes are offered through the City of Boulder Parks & Recreation at the East Boulder Community Center. Yoga's many benefits include increased strength and flexibility, decreased stress, improved digestion and circulation, and enhanced breathing. Lori received her 500-hour teacher training in the Yoga of Compassion and taught Guest Yoga at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health for several years.
